Years 45-54…

It’s unavoidable… Life’s stages bring changes. The older you are the more difficult it is to accept a change. You become set in your routine with family, friends, your job, etc. Change can be good! Although it is stressful and seems risky, once you make a conscious decision to change something in your life, the reward is usually worth the effort.

People respond differently to change. Inevitably, you learn from these life-changing experiences how to adapt and move forward in your life. Seeking the advice of family, friends, or a professional in times of indecision can be helpful. Have you permanently removed yourself from an unhealthy marriage/relationship? If you changed to a new career, has that decision opened new doors to opportunity, new relationships or unexpected problems? Are you caring for a sick/elderly parent or in-law?

Let’s Shmooze…
